It is a caffeine-free chocolate strip that dissolves on your tongue in about ten seconds, with four mushrooms in it. It is made for menopause brain fog. It took me three to four weeks, and I nearly gave up before then.
I keep mine by the kettle so I remember it.
I want to tell you about the afternoon I cried in my car outside a supermarket, because I think it might be the thing that makes you feel less alone.
I had gone in for four things. I came out with two of them and no idea what the others had been, and I sat in the driver's seat with the engine off and I thought, quite calmly, something is wrong with me. I was fifty one. I had run a household and a job and a family calendar for twenty five years without ever writing anything down. And I could not remember four items.
I did not tell anybody. That is the part I would go back and change if I could. I sat with it on my own for the best part of a year, and I let it convince me of some fairly frightening things.
I am not a doctor and I do not sell supplements. I am just someone who came out the other side of that, and I said I would write this down properly in case it reaches somebody sitting where I was.
"By the fourth week I could finish a thought without losing it halfway through. That alone was worth it."
I ticked nearly every one of these before I found something that helped, and I was ashamed of every single one.
If you are nodding at that, please do not feel daft about it. I felt daft about it for a year and it cost me a great deal.
Because here is what actually happened to me while I was busy being ashamed. I stopped putting my hand up for things at work, because I was frightened of losing my thread in front of people. I snapped at my husband over a thing so small I could not tell you now what it was. And my daughter had to remind me twice about something she had told me the week before, and I saw her face do a small thing that she tried to hide, and that was the worst afternoon of the lot.
I will say the quiet bit out loud, because somebody has to. I lay awake at three in the morning more than once wondering whether this was the beginning of dementia. If that thought has been sitting in your chest too, go and talk to your doctor about it. Do not do what I did and sit on it alone for a year, and please do not go looking for the answer on the internet in the middle of the night. Mine listened, and then explained something to me that I wish I had known two years earlier.
It was hormones. That was it. That was the whole frightening mystery.
Estrogen does a lot more than most of us were ever taught. It helps with memory, with finding your words, with holding your concentration through a long afternoon. And in your forties and fifties it does not politely taper off. It swings about all over the place, and your brain has to carry on working through a signal that has gone unreliable. The fog is what that feels like from the inside.
She explained that estrogen helps your brain make acetylcholine, which is the chemical behind memory and finding your words, and helps manage dopamine, which is focus and drive. It also looks after the front part of your brain, the bit that holds on to a thought while you finish the sentence. When the estrogen goes haywire, so does all of that.
I sat in that appointment and something in my chest came loose. I had not lost my mind. I had not gone soft. I was doing the same job on a fuel supply that had become unpredictable, and nobody had ever thought to mention it to me.
It also explains the coffee, which I had been drinking by the gallon and which had stopped doing anything at all. It gives you an hour and then hands you straight back to the fog, usually feeling worse. The third cup does not fix your afternoon. It just moves the crash to teatime.
She told me this happens to everybody, not just women my age. Which is why more coffee was never going to be the answer.
My coffee, and the strip, across one ordinary day.
A conceptual illustration of the two patterns, not measured data.
The way my doctor put it finally made it make sense to me, so I will pass it on exactly as she gave it to me.
Estrogen is the wifi. It is not your laptop, and it is not you. It is the connection that everything else quietly depends on. And in your forties and fifties it starts dropping in and out, sometimes for a minute, sometimes for an afternoon.
Your laptop is fine. Nothing has gone wrong with your laptop. But if the connection keeps going, you will sit there watching a page fail to load and start believing something is wrong with the machine. All that time I had been blaming the laptop.
Before I get to what worked, I want to be honest about what did not, because I think the disappointment is part of why so many of us give up.
The first was a bottle of capsules a woman at work swore by. I took them faithfully for a month and they did absolutely nothing. Not a thing. I finished the whole bottle out of stubbornness and felt exactly as foggy on the last day as the first, and I felt like an idiot for having hoped.
The second was a powder, and I lasted eleven days. It tasted like dirt. I am not being unkind, it genuinely did, and it left a chalky film on my teeth that sat there all morning. I had to mix it with water and drink it down like medicine, and every morning I stood at the sink and dreaded it a little more, until one day I simply stopped and left the box at the back of the cupboard where I expect it still is.
I found this out later. Oria sorted 2,140 complaints about rival supplements before building this one, and my experience was in there, category by category.
And that, I have since learned, is the whole problem in a sentence. I did not give up because it was not working. I gave up because I could not face it.
A friend at my walking group mentioned these. She is not one for fads and she is a bit tighter with her money than I am, so when she said she had been taking something, I listened.
What sold me was not the science. It was that there was nothing to dread. It is a chocolate strip. You put it on your tongue and it dissolves in about ten seconds, and it tastes like chocolate, which after the powder felt like a small miracle. No mixing. No glass of water. Nothing chalky sitting on my teeth all morning.
That sounds like a trivial thing to care about. It is the entire reason I am still taking it eight months later, and the reason the box in my cupboard has been there since March.
It has no caffeine in it either, which mattered to me more than I expected. And every single ingredient and its amount is printed on the pack, so there is no guessing about what you are getting.
I liked that they print the whole lot on the pack, with no mystery blend. One little strip, four mushrooms.

1
Peel open one chocolate strip. Takes two seconds, anywhere you are.
2
Let it dissolve on your tongue in about ten seconds. Tastes like chocolate.
3
One strip each morning. Most women notice clearer days within three to four weeks.
Writing the whole story out because I looked for something like this for almost a year before finding it. Fog started maybe 18 months ago, right around when my periods got irregular. Thought I was just tired from work at first but it got to where I'd be mid sentence in a meeting and just lose it, like the words were there and then gone. Tried fish oil, tried a nootropic powder my sister in law swears by, tried just sleeping more, none helped. A coworker mentioned these almost as an afterthought and I was skeptical, the dissolving strip thing sounded gimmicky to me, like a breath strip pretending to be a supplement. Took one anyway. Taste is genuinely good, like a thin square of chocolate, not medicine flavored at all which is more than I can say for the powders I had before. Didn't notice anything the first two weeks and almost gave up. Around week four my husband asked if I was feeling better because I seemed "less scattered," which is when I realized it had actually been working and I just hadn't clocked it myself. Two months in now, still taking one every morning with coffee. Not a miracle cure, still have off days, but the constant fog isn't my baseline anymore and that's a huge change for me.
I'm a stay at home mom and look after 3 kids. I was having such a hard time at home especially with what felt like a rock in my head! Taking these strips has made such a change. It took about a month to feel the difference, but I can live without these now.
Three weeks in I stopped walking into rooms and forgetting why I was there. Small thing but if you've had brain fog you know it's not small at all.
Taste is nice, dissolves quick like they say. Took closer to five weeks for me to notice a real change though so don't expect it fast if you're on the fence.

It built up gently over my first month rather than arriving all at once. Here is roughly how it went.
Please give it the full month before you decide. Week two is where I nearly threw it away. Everyone is different, so results vary from person to person.
I had tried the rest. Here is how Zero Fog compares to the gummies and capsules I gave up on.

Three more women who were where you are now.
"Nothing worked for me before this, tried three different supplements first and wasted money on all of them. This one actually did something, just took patience."
"First week nothing, second week nothing, then week three hit and it was like a switch flipped. Wasn't expecting that."
"I've tried so many things for this fog, most made me jittery or did nothing. These didn't do that. Slow improvement, not straight away, but steady."
Due to overwhelming demand, Zero Fog stock is limited. See if it’s still available in your area.

Give them a proper go for 30 days. If your afternoons feel no different, you get every penny back and you do not have to send anything back. After the two things I wasted my money on, I can tell you that matters.
